The Famous Company loved taking part in the first day of the Pot Noodle Alternative Careers Fair Twitch livestream. The event was held in their London studios live and free for viewers earlier last week. The Famous Company featured in the music segment of the stream – which showcased the grand final of the Top of the Pots student musician competition – holding a Q&A session on life in the music industry and how to get your first break.
What happened in the session?
During the one hour segment, three talented young musicians battled it out in the grand final of Top of the Pots – the student musician competition held in collaboration by Pot Noodle, The Famous Company and Strawberries & Creem festival. The three shortlisted finalists performed live, and through a viewer vote, the winner, Gabriel Sanches, secured a spot to perform at the leading UK music festival.
Elsewhere, host Falcone was challenged to make a Pot Noodle song live in the studio with help from viewers. The Famous Company’s Director Matt Allen and Head of Content Zaid Elgahmi hosted a Q&A session covering day-to-day experiences of working in music and how to get yourself started in a fiercely competitive industry.
