This week, Zaid was joined by the one and only, Lewis Jamieson. Co-founder and communications manager of the environmental movement Music Declares Emergency. An initiative which has attracted big names like Billie Eilish, Radiohead, The 1975, and more. Lewis Jamieson has been in the music industry for over 30 years. He has worked across A&R, artist management, and PR. Furthermore, he has worked the press for some big UK names such as Oasis, Elbow, and Madness. 

 

Zaid asks about the imprint Lewis has left on the music industry. They additionally discussed what it was that inspired him to take action and form Music Declares Emergency. They talk about the force of music and how it has been a vessel to carry the messages of MDE. Real talk on how the music community has the power to trigger change in the music industry.
